When a man comes to Christ, he goes from having a spirit of conquest, to having a spirit of cultivation. He no longer is seeking new lands to have for himself, he is taking care of the lands that Christ has already won; producing fruit that brings glory to God.

He doesn’t rule his wife and family, he helps them grow. He doesn’t subdue his friends and co-workers, he plants seeds within their hearts to see the goodness of God.

Jesus takes the sword from our hands and puts us to work into the field, giving back to us that which was lost; life.

…and about love, you ask?

love runs faster than fear.

A relationship is like a house. When a light-bulb burns out, you don’t go and buy a new house, you fix the light-bulb.
